For this project, the task was to create a booklet about the art in the metro. A functional grid system had to be created in order to showcase the art in a cohesive manner.
Although this festival portrays itself as a giant summertime party in the heart of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The heart of Piknic Electronic has always been about electronic music. This approach will highlight its importance which will give the event a fresh new start.

Given the nature of this project, I decided that I would highlight the images and not take away from it with the design. I started off with a simple grid that is suitable for a single and a double spread. This grid would help frame the artworks when paired with the rest of the elements.
Clean and classic. Designing according to the images resulted in a cohesive package. Keeping the design clean makes it possible to truly appreciate the artwork while being visually stimulated with the dynamic grid.
